Terms of Service

By creating an account or using MyMissionLetters ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

MyMissionLetters helps missionaries and their families save and share the record of a mission. Products are purchased per missionary and may be bought individually or in any combination; the Mission Archive, which captures emails, photos, and PDFs from the mission, is included with every product. A Memory Book — delivered digitally and/or as a printed hardcover — is compiled from that content. The Pro Email List, which may be purchased on its own or alongside a Memory Book, provides email broadcasting: when an authorized sender emails your unique broadcast address, that email is delivered to all members on your list and saved to your Mission Archive at the same time.

Each product is a one-time charge. The price is shown before you complete your purchase, and payment is taken at that time. There are no subscriptions, no monthly or recurring fees, and no automatic renewals.

A payment covers that missionary's list for its full term, as described under Service Term below and on our FAQ page. Optional items you choose to buy later — including additional books, extra volumes, extra copies, upgrades, and expedited or international shipping — are separate purchases, and their price is shown before you pay.

A missionary's list runs for a term of up to 3.5 years from the date it is first activated. Purchases made later for the same missionary do not extend the term. When a list reaches the end of its term, we may deactivate it. We may also choose to keep a list running beyond its term; doing so is at our discretion and does not waive our right to end service for that list at any time after its term has passed.

Purchases are covered by a money-back guarantee, as described on our FAQ page, which sets out the refund window, the conditions that apply to each product, and how to request a refund. Refund requests are submitted from the Account page and are reviewed by us before a refund is issued.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Ensure that all authorized senders on your account understand and comply with these Terms

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its intended use — sharing personal updates from missionaries with family and friends who have consented to receive them.

You may not use the Service to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam)
• Transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Send content that infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service for commercial advertising or solicitation without our prior written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions.

You are responsible for ensuring that all individuals on your member list have consented to receive emails through the Service. Every email sent through MyMissionLetters includes a leave-list link. You must not re-add list members who have previously left the list.

Accounts are subject to a list member limit as described on our FAQ page. We reserve the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice.

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any delays, failures, or interruptions in email delivery.

You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. Upon deletion, your account data, member list, and mission archive are permanently removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.

Deleting your account is not a refund request. If a refund is available to you, request it before deleting your account. Suspension or termination for violation of these Terms does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid, except as required by law or as provided by the guarantee described above.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyMissionLetters and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, failed email delivery, or unauthorized access to your account.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
