1. Your book

Proof & final book

Generate a free proof to review every page. When it looks right, get the final watermark-free PDF for $49.

2. Estimate pages & volumes

See how many pages and volumes your book will be — and your final price — before you generate a proof. The price shown here is exactly what you'll pay; it doesn't change after your proof. This doesn't create anything or charge you.

If your book runs more than ~700 pages, it will be split into multiple volumes (separate hardcover books). Volumes split for length are each priced; a volume split for print size is included.

3. Generate your proof

We'll create a free proof of your book for you to review. You only pay after you approve it.

Once you generate a proof, your book is locked while it's being reviewed so the printed copy matches exactly what you approve. Letters and photos that arrive after that point are saved for your next book. You can discard the proof anytime to keep editing.

Printed colors may differ from your screen. Lulu prints in CMYK; your screen displays in sRGB. Premium covers are bound in dyed linen cloth, so the actual fabric color can vary more noticeably than the on-screen swatch.
